Local poet Nancy Keating will read from her work at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, May 2 at Jack Jack's Coffeehouse, 223 Deer Park Avenue, Babylon as part of the Babylon Village Arts Council's "Poetry in the Village" series hosted by Tom Stock.
Nancy’s poetry has been accepted for publication by literary magazines including New Letters, “Poetry Daily,” Southwest Review, The Gettysburg Review, The Southampton Review, The Carolina Quarterly, Tar River Poetry, Potomac Review, and Crab Creek Review, and she has been anthologized. A two-time Pushcart Prize nominee, she is a past finalist for the Marsh Hawk Press and Colorado Review book prizes, and is completing a Master of Fine Arts degree in creative writing at Stony Brook University.
